About Attorney Benjamin B. Whiting

Attorney Benjamin Whiting started helping clients at the Washtenaw County Public Defender Office before he even graduated from law school. While there, he represented clients in a range of criminal matters and became known for his advocacy and negotiating skills inside and outside the courtroom.

It was in law school and later at the Public Defender Office that Benjamin honed his understanding of the science behind the evidence in drunk driving cases. That knowledge of the law and science help Benjamin secure a Not Guilty of being "Super-Drunk" in his very first trial.

Benjamin continues to bring the knowledge and tenacity necessary to defend clients in his own practice.
